Start with a paragraph that briefly summarizes the lesson content, goals and methodology. Descriptions of the student activity required may be especially helpful.

  • General Subject Areas: e.g. Earth science, astronomy, space science, math
  • Best for Grades: enter grade levels: K-4, 5-8, 9-12, or 13-14
  • Student Prerequisites: skills/knowledge that students should have before starting.
  • Time Requirements: Approximately XX hours Preparation Time and XX hours Class Time
  • Materials Required: include equipment and supplies; note whether any worksheets, charts, etc. are provided.
Unit Features: Provide link and BRIEF descriptions for special features that may be useful by themselves, for example:
