Gravity, Orbits, and Planetary Motion

This section enters into the physical science of gravity through the solar system. The purpose is for students to understand the principles of the force of gravity, and how it causes orbital revolution.  All bodies in the solar system also have some rotation. Speeds and periods of rotation and revolution can often be measured and quantified from repeated observations of the object.  The section also includes a qualitative extension to Keplerian orbits.
