Conclusions - Next Steps

• This poll reached and gathered information from one of our target groups, K-12 educators, on the use of on-line astronomy and space science resources. This group, best described as “Internet aware educators,” will most likely constitute a large percentage of future NVO users. Images and lessons seem to be this target group’s most wanted resources. We plan to poll this target group one more time to reach a different subset of the teacher pool.

• We are also planning to poll artists, museum/planetarium educators and English/Spanish speaking web-accessing general public.

• We are investigating a variety of methods for conducting user requirements research, such as computer usability lab environments, focus groups, and surveys
