Welcome to Patty Coe's Home Page!

I teach computer applications to middle school kids at Stanley Intermediate School in Lafayette, California. We just got our internet connection up and running this year, and my students are reaping the benefits of the HTML which I learned at the Berkeley Center for EUV Astrophysics. We are currently developing our school's web site Stanley Wildcats (all new stuff done by students, with a little help from me). If you are a computer teacher with ideas for using the internet in computer classes, please send me your ideas. I would be happy to reciprocate.

On the personal side, I live in the East Bay with my spouse and 3 cats. My degree is in statistics, but my interests are cycling (check out my former team, Cal Cycling), carpentry, art, and growing orchids.

Here is my Plate Tectonics Lesson Plan which I developed with another teacher at Stanley, Michael Merrick.
