Find That Planet!

Jupiter  Venus  Mars

An Online Activity For Grades 4-12

Overview:

How many times have you seen a really bright thing in the sky and wondered what it was? Chances are, it was either an airplane (if it was moving) or one of the bright planets, like Jupiter, Venus, or Mars.  You can be the local expert on what planets to see, if you know where to look in the sky and when. Keep on clicking to find out how to use star maps to help you find planets or even comets and asteroids!
