The cover of the Living With a Star Teacher's Guide.
This Website accompanies the Living with a Star: GEMS® (Great Explorations in Math and Science) Teacher's Guide®, which examines our relationship with the dynamic Sun. If you like to find out more about GEMS Teachers Guides, please click here. To learn more about NASA's Living With A Star initiative, please click here.

The Living with a Star Website contains materials that can be used in conjunction with the print guide as well as resources that can be used independently by teachers or students. Please note that some of these materials are provided as background information for teachers and might be too advanced for middle school students.

All of the materials are organized in relation to the print guide, by chapter. You'll find additional articles, classroom activities, images, QuickTime and RealVideo movies, a glossary of terms, and links to additional Web resources.
