5.2 Sky Map in the Extreme Ultraviolet

This sky map shows all the stars I have observed. The various colored points and green triangles represent stars that produce Extreme Ultraviolet radiation. This diagram of the electromagnetic spectrum shows where EUV radiation lies on the spectrum of wavelengths.

These stars  usually fall into four categories, or types, of stars. These types are white dwarves, cataclysmic variables, early-type stars, and late-type stars.  I've been able to identify most of the stars on this map, but the stars represented by the green triangles require closer study.  I would appreciate it if you could use what you know about spectra to help me find the star type for each of these mystery stars.

Please go to the Next page to learn about the individual star types.
