Happy 10 year anniversary FAST! FAST has been operating for 10 full years, almost a full solar cycle. Scientists have unlocked many complex mysteries about the plasma physics of the aurora over these past 10 years.

FAST has been extended another two years! This means that NASA has funded the ground operations to continue to gather data from FAST as it orbits Earth, understanding the Aurora. This will give the FAST team the opportunity to study an entire solar cycle of aurora.
