Activity 4:  The effect of collisions

For this activity, you will need two steel balls.  You are going to experiment with colliding the balls together and record your observations.

As you are experimenting -  imagine that the steel balls are gas molecules.  Try to understand what the happens to the balls in terms of what happens to gas molecules when they collide.
