Determining the Number of Stars in the Sky Visible to the Naked Eye

Worth 20 points -- Due Monday, June 3rd 2002

In this project you will use the concept of statistical sampling and a toilet paper or paper towel tube to determine the average number of stars in the sky visible to the naked eye. I have a worksheet for this project. If you are interested in the project either email me or talk to me in class and I will give you a photocopy of the worksheet.
