Find That Comet!

Activity by
Alan Gould
For Grades 4-12

Would you like to be first on your block to see comet Hale-Bopp? It will be visible from March 1996 through April 1997. It is expected to bright enough to easily visible to the naked eye in March 1997 and with binoculars at other times. To find it, you need to know where to look in the sky and when. This activity helps you prepare, using starmaps to help you find the comet.
