"Auroras: Paintings in the Sky" originated as a cooperative project between teacher Mish Denlinger, and Jim Spadaccini and Linda Shore of the Exploratorium museum staff. Development was supported as part of Exploratorium's partnership in the NASA/IITA Science Education Gateway (SEGway) project.
These pages are now served by SEGway, at the Center for Science Education of the Space Sciences Laboratory, University of California, Berkeley. Our goal is to provide ongoing maintenance of the SEGway lessons developed by funded partners, as well as to provide high-quality supporting materials targeted specifically for the classroom. The SEGway project wishes to acknowledge the original authors for their contribution of an excellent lesson foundation.
The original self-guided lesson is still available at http://www.exploratorium.edu/learning_studio/auroras/
