The TIME OF FLIGHT ENERGY ANGLE MASS SPECTROGRAPH (TEAMS) measures both the energies, masses, and directions of different types of ions (including H+, He+, He++, O+, O2+, and NO+). The TEAMS instrument operates in a manner similar to the Electrostatic Analyzer (ESA). It is different from ESA in that it has a 360° field of view and an additional stage to measure the velocity of particles.
